Estilo Sonkete

The purpose of this video and dvd is to illustrate Estilo Sonkete. Estilo Sonkete is thrusting and poking style using ridgid wepons such as bolo, panabas, or baston (stick). In this style, the escrimador thusts his weapon into an opening in the opponents guard. This is accoplished in several ways that is demonstrated in the dvd. Whatever way you decide to use sonkete will make this style effective; the escrimador must use side stepping to first evade the oncoming strike.
